I have been using industrial vinegar and bicarbonate of soda watered down in a spray bottle to clean my birds cages with. Does anyone have any more tips? Apologise if this is in the wrong area its my first time posting.
Thanks Sally

That works will. Watch the odor that comes from this though. I use a mild detergent (Dawn) for cleaning and follow with a Peroxide wipe for disinfecting. It leaves a residue safe for the cockatiels and kills a lot of bacteria and inactivates many types of viruses.

Thank you for reply, I like the sound of using the mild detergent to thoroughly clean the cage. I was putting the toys in a mild Milton solution, it's a baby bottles steriliser. Definitely giving the detergent a go 😁
Thanks Sally
