Do they show any interest in each other? I had two cockatiels that I hoped to make into a pair because of the certain mutations and splits, but unfortunately they had no interest in each other so it didn't work out. And then I had another pair that as soon as I put them in the same cage, they cuddled and preened each other, and not long after had a family. As for age, I'm pretty sure that they should be at least 2 years old, although I've heard that the male can be younger. I actually have a pair that looks like those two. The male is a normal grey split to pied, and the female is a cinnamon

pied. The first picture is them with their chick. Your female looks a lot like a cinnamon pied.

Which is a good pair? Are you talking about your birds?
A good pair are those who will pair up. Some will and some won't. Can't expect your expected colouring unless you really know the complicated colour breeding.
I don't and won't breed over my 20 years ownership. Old saying, don't buy a bird for a bird with any breed. Some will work well together and some won't.
If you are wondering about colouring from a mating pair it varies dependent on previous breeding tiels. As I don't breed, I don't need to know, but what I do know is that is quite complicated with colouring expectation from parents to grandparents etc, etc.
