This evening when I had supper.. or dinner what ever you wish to call it, I tho't since Tiki was doing so well, he could sit on the bar area of my kitchen counter while I ate.... first time for him.... Well, he was walking around, looking over the edge, missed stepped and fell off... of course he flapped his wings, so he really didn't fall, but it scared him, he hightailed it to his cage, went to the highest perch and refused to come back out....

Now, I have watched him navigate his play stations, hang on a rope, crawl all over his cage and so on, you would think he could stay on a flat surface.... .. but no, he fell off.... :blush: and he was ticked to say the least.... I think he tho't I pushed him off.... I didn't .... honest.... I just wanted him to maybe eat a bite with me.... since the dogs were sharing my meal, he could too....

I guess he didn't realize if he went over to far he would fall off, I am sure he knows you didn't push him, maybe he is just embarrassed with himself for falling they usually get over things pretty quickly I am sure all will be well tomorrow.

I am sure it will OK too... was kind of funny after I made sure he wasn't hurt!!

He has gone to bed now, hope he doesn't have an nightmares...

LOL Echo does that all the time, if theres an edge its guaranteed he'll fall off it, it helps he can fly now, but half the time he still forgets to flap.

How funny.... maybe its a tiel thing!!!!!! He was so upset.... I picked him up to put him back on the counter, but he was having no part of that..... he was headed for his cage and nothing was going to interfer....
