david here in corpus Christi texas. Way down deep in South Texas. Ive bred cockatiels in the past but its been long ago. I have a male thats a bit over a yr old and the female is a tad over 2. The male loves the female but its not mutual. I do have a nesting box in the cage. The female is very bonded with me but the male even tho hand raised has never bonded with me. bites. Does her attachment with me bad for their relationship. I think its rare that birds dont bond. They have been together for a yr. Any thoughts on that from the groups. the male goes by Hank and the lady is Sam. I really thought Sam was a male till she dropped a egg or 2 so She is Samantha now.
