Good morning guys!

What are your routines for your birds?

I was busy feeding the birds this morning and was wondering if my routine is excessive or not enough:
Daily:uncover them, give meds (while they are sick), clean and disinfect their stainless steel bowls, fresh food and water (seed -no sunflowers - fresh fruit and veg), then 30mins of quality time before I go to work.
Weekly: quick cage clean
Monthly: change toy rotation to prevent boredom and full cage disinfect.

Should i be cleaning the cages more to prevent them getting sick in the future?
Am I cleaning too much and so they not building up an immunity?

Have a wonderful day!

What you do for your birds is good. It depends on how many birds you have and how dirty they are. I vacuum all the time. I have a vacuum right near the cage. I am in work all day and when I come home, I let them come out with me immediately. I clean the cage and refill food and water. Everyone has their own routine. I also set up a little area in my bedroom so they can stay with me upstairs. So that is another area that I need to vacuum and clean up there too. Keep doing what you are comforatable with.
