Before I take home my cockatiel in June I want to make sure I've got everything ready, one of the last things I need to sort out is the food.

Seeds are easy to buy here in the UK but pellets seem to be hard to come buy so I'm considering buying them from here: http://scarlettsparrotessentials.co.uk/pellet_complete_diets

The problem is that the UK brand of pellets are different to the USA brands so I have no idea which brand on this list is best/recommended.

Any UK birdy owners out there who could recommend any of these brands, please?
Thank you :D

I have a very similar problem in Ireland - except here pet shops don't even know what pellets are.. The best branded seed mix is only available from one pet shop in the whole city too..

Anyway, I've been ordering from Northerparrots.. They have some of the brands I've heard mentioned from the US: http://www.northernparrots.com/complete-food-and-pellets-dept178_pg1/#filterkey=displayoptions&displayoptions=cockatiel&page=1

I've not tried any of the foods, but I can vouch for the site, my order of toys arrived this morning!

Hope it helps :)

Harrison's, Zupreem, Nutiberries, Avicakes etc etc are all available here in the UK :)
Northern Parrots sell them all and it's a good reliable site :)
Scarletts parrot essentials is good & very fast delivery but I find her postage a bit hefty if your only buying 'bits and bobs'.
Zooplus, Chemist Direct, there are lots & lots of them :)
To be honest I usually just google what I want & then get it from whoever works out the cheapest on that particular day :) I've never had any problems doing this :)
