Well, she's got two commands down pat. If I tell her to 'Go home' she knows to fly to her cage and then she sits on top. Then I say 'Go inside' and she goes inside, usually to poke around and see what treat I've left for her.
She does not know the command known as 'Go inside and stop popping right back out you stinker!' There's already been incidents with her being so enthusiastic about her food that when I refill her dish she tries to play tug of war from inside her cage (through the little door for inserting the food cups). Yesterday she pushed instead of pulled and pushed the dish onto the floor. This morning I closed her in the cage so I could go for a walk and the stinker waited until I was about to insert the dish to shove it out of the way and popped right out through the little door!
Sometimes I order her in when she's tired and getting crankier and crankier. Usually she sulks but does it anyway and drops right off to sleep. She is supposed to stay on a perch when she sleeps (I'm teaching her a 'Perch' command) but she ends up on her water or food dishes. Anyways, I'll say 'Perch' and she'll go back to her perch. In the morning I find a dish full of poo.
I've been covering her before bedtime. I have also been noticing a funny clicking noise. So after a few nights of this I waited until she was on her perch and then peeked under the cover. Bella was trying to sneak back to her dish! :huh:
