Bald spot

Hello, I have a white pie-faced cockatiel named Mr. Cracker. We got him 10 years ago, and I believe he was 3 or 4 years old? Today I noticed that Mr. Cracker has a bald spot under his
crest.

Whenever I let him out, he let's me pet him. Yesterday he didn't have the bald spot, or I just didn't notice.. :(
