Hi all,
Very stupidly I did not realize that baby cockatiel poop should look the same as the adults. As in green and white. The baby was only pooping white from the start. I just realized today that that’s not supposed to happen. It is already 13 days old. And parents are still taking care of it. There are no signs for rejection. It is also still interested in food and makes noises. However every now and then it is quite for long periods and leans against the walls of the nestbox or even lays down completely. I have an appointment with the vet this Tuesday. Any advise on what else I should do? Are the chance of survival low? You can see a picture of the little one below. I feel like its body is fat.
