I’m going to pick up my, soon to be, 9-10 week old cockatiel in about a month. I’ve done lots of research, but, experts, do you have any advice? Feel free to go into detail, this is my first cockatiel and I want to do the absolute best I can.

TWO things I would recommend: You can either examine this web-site in detail for information ( it's there if you look ) and TWO cockatiel books that I consider the BEST to any cockatiel fan! The first one is "The complete book of cockatiels" by Diane Grindol and the second one is titled " Living with a Cockatiel" by Neil Forbes. TRUST ME, for the cheap price, you'll get a wealth of information from one or both books and since you say it's going to be about a month before you bring your bird home, that's perfect! That gives you time to order them and read up! Good luck!

Thanks so much! I’ll try and get my hands on those books. :)
