Unfortunately, by nature, the parrot parents will ignore the sick, weak, small or sick babies, just as any animal or bird does to ensure the strong will survive. That doesn't mean that they should not be helped. They know. That is nature. I would strongly suggest formula for this baby to survive and thrive as they can, even at this stage so this baby has a thriving chance to live and thrive. Often done with human intervention and they can survive and thrive perhaps better than their egg mates.
Feed the unwanted baby and they can go ahead and thrive unless sick and unhealthy. It is worth going the extra mile to give the youngest a chance to have a life.
I don't breed because of the heartbreak that can come. They are just my babies forever. Sudo to you if going ahead to give the youngest, weakest baby to thrive.
