OK...This time for sure. I resized the pic of the whole Spangled 'tiel. I would love to hear more about these!

I know the long shot looks an awful lot like a Pearl but you can see a close up of the feathers on the post named "Spangled Cockatiel" It looks quite different. Pretty girl by the way!

It is a spangle, not a pearl. Very pretty! I think that the mutation is still being developed and a lot of the spangles are with breeders rather than pet owners. We used to have a member who had one or two spangles which she picked up at the pet shop though.

i thought the "pearling" look very odd. Very beautiful. Wont find them over my way for another good 10 years or more haha

I shouldn't even be thinking about OTHER mutations I have 8 now soon to be 9.
