Hi everyone
I have just joined the forum and am looking forward to being here! I have 2 cockatiels, 30 budgies, a pair of Major Mitchells, Princess Parrots and Opaline Grass Parrots. I love all my birds and at the moment it is breeding season down here. My cockatiels have had their first clutch this year and the chicks are 3 weeks old. I am handrearing them as I have had requests for tame birds. (I handrear most of my parrots from 3 weeks of age)I will attach some pics when my Photobucket co-operates with me!

You might be able to help me, do you know what mutation my chicks are -they all have black feathers with white tips on the end of their feathers, the cock bird is a lutino and the hen is a silvery colour.

You might be able to help me, do you know what mutation my chicks are -they all have black feathers with white tips on the end of their feathers, the cock bird is a lutino and the hen is a silvery colour.

No problemo.

I'm no good at mutations, sorry I can't help you there. I DID notice you have made a thread about it though, so I'm sure someone else will be able to tell you. Good luck and I hope you do get an answer as to what mutation they are.
