Hey all
I’m posting as my little Darcy has been chirping for about 3 hours now. This isn’t normal for her. She’s about 6 months old and she’s currently moulting. She hasn’t left my side for about 5 hours today. Normal behaviours like eating, playing, flying are ok but she’s chirping whilst doing these things. I’ve been giving her little scratches but she just won’t stop. She’s eating now and chirping at the same time.
Just checking as this is very different for her.
checked the poops and their normal, drinking well and we’re having more than regular washes to help with the moulting. Any advise would be great as I’m stumped.

I hadn’t even considered that it could be just happiness. I suppose we all worry our babies are going to get sick or hurt themselves that we overlook the simplest answer. Admitting she is still doing it but not as much but it would be nice to get some more alone time but I can’t complain that she’s on me all the time. It’s comforting.
I had a big argument with a visitor at my flat the other day and she immediately came to me for support. Once I’d calmed down she went back to the cage. These little ones are truly a gift
