I have normal greys, whiteface, pearl pieds, creamface cinnamons, and pearls.

Could you explain barbering? I've had tiels for years and have never heard of it. To be on the safe side, I would recommend a trip to an avian vet if your lucky enough to live near one.

Can you give us an update on your bird? I'm hoping you took the advice and had a vet look at him.

Barbering: this is the destruction of the feather that doesn't involve its removal. A parrot might chew at the feathers, destroying them, or might actually bite them off, sometimes down to the skin.
