my birds have had a few clutches of babies i know the ins and outs,
we have a 4 month old, parents stopped feeding it and he does eat seed,
i know babies beg a little to mum and dad for food now and then but it just wont stopppp,
ive tried feeding him formula because he doesn't ever seem to have a full crop, but he wont take the food.
All day he whinneeeeessssssssssssssss and ive offered soft foods too, and its not really possible to make the parents feed it either

Definitely consider a vet check. A 4 month old "hungry crying" baby sounds like there could be some underlying health issue that needs to be addressed.

On the flip side, he could just be a very late wean, which i've had in a couple of clutches. I definitely agree with (vet check allowing) giving him/her millet and budgie seed to see if that will get him going.

Time to time we move back and forth from different seeds, will definitely try some millet, and give the avian vet a call - see what they say, its an hour drive there so if it sounds serious it'll be the drives worth
