Fed all size birds for 40 years, even tube....., My 4-5 week old tiels are still om 3 feedings a day. Your birds will adapt to (the flock ritual) I only do late or maybe thru night feedings on 1 day olds to 5 day olds depending on circumstances. right now I have 4 week old and 5.3 wk olds all on 3 feedings,...I do 8:30-9ish AM, around 3, then 9- 9:30 ish. BUT it does depend on the chicks. I watch for hydration, weight appearances, When they empty, stage the pins are coming in....... ( my parents, previous chicks). Please relax.....smile nervous feeders get nervous chicks smile...... You will hear MANY responses, different breeders newbies and folks that breed in flights of 50 plus- commercial. and anyone with money can write a book. Remember that.
