However, sitting on the cage floor can also be a sign of ill health so if that continues you should see the avain vet.

Hello. I too need help. I bought a cockateil 2 weeks back. it is 3-5 months old. It eats from our hand some times. but mostly it just stares at us. we have not take it out of the cage yet. Do they feel irritated if inside the cage for a long time? Also im little scared of birds and dont know how to hold it to bring it out of the cage.
